†The Importance Of A High School Diploma†

High School diplomas are important because we need good jobs. Instead of dropping out and not having much money to do anything. 60% of jobs require some kind of diploma beyond high school. Most collages of higher education want applicants to be high school graduates. Well, in my veiw we need it to survive in this crazy world. It's worth the work!

†Math Anxiety†

Math anxiety is caused by being unprepared and are also caused by timed tests and public humiliation. It will also cause loss of self-confidence in a typical classroom. Studies have shown students learn best when they are active rather than passive learners (Spikell, 1993). With all the tension with math some math humor is greatly needed. Young children enjoy cartoons and jokes.
Math is often associated with pain and frustration. For example: unpaid bills, and unforeseen debt's. If you forget about those things i'm sure you will forget about the trouble's you go through.

Election Day: I'm sad it didn't pass

I'm sad the vote for the new high school didn't pass. For 1: Now we have to go to year round high school. Who cares about the taxes seriously its only a little. With an over packed school it decreases the kids learning ability. It was also not only for sales tax but also the tax for casino's.

Military use of robots increases!

Robots are no longer the stuff of science fiction. They have left the movie screen and have entered combat. I think this article is interesting because they are expecting about 30% of the military to be composed of robots. Not the kind of terminator or I-robot, but self-driving vehicles and rescue robots. Like you don't want to have robots at the button of bio-weapons because they might pick the wrong choice, that's why you want humans to do the thinking.
By 2020 they expect not only the pack bots like in this picture, but medical robots and spy bots. All of the robots of the military are teleoperated meaning that they are controlled by a remote location.

What just happened?

I was at home watching CSI then all of a sudden I heard scratching at the door. I went over and opened the door and there was this dog just sitting there. I saw a collar around its neck, so I looked at it and it said "If you find this cat please call this number" and I thought to myself "What the heck?". So I called the number, then I woke up in a cold basement with two dead bodies. One was fresh and one you could tell has been there for a while. The rest i cant remember.
